This hand painted Mexican skeleton band
set was inspired by mariachi bands from Dia de los Muertos, and
Catrina was inspired by Posada's "La Calavera de la Catrina."
During Dia de Los Muertos, groups of lively mariachi players often go
from house to house or grave to grave all through the night
serenading the dead. Traditionally, Day of the Dead figurines depict
scenes and people from actual life, as does this band and Catrina.
