How to Wear Patterned Tights

Fall's new legwear has taken the conservative looks of seasons past and splashed them with stripes, dots, checks, and color blocks for gaze-at-me gams. From the runway to retail, open weaves, jewel tone hues and embellished sheer styles have legs making serious statements as the temps turn cool. Crazy legs are crazy popular for fall. Look for bright neon shades and loud patterns, like this style, or opt for a sheer, more subtle texture and print. We Love Colors Vertical Jagged tights, $15 at

Ballerina buns are one of the biggest hair trends for Spring 2010

It's hard to believe that we are talking about Spring 2010 hair trends when we are just entering the winter season. But, at the Spring 2010 fashion shows, ballerina buns were the trend. Cameron Diaz's messy hair mirrors the hair styles at Charlotte Ronson's and Lanvin's Spring 2010 fashion show.  Don't be fooled though because these aren't the super slicked, ear-pulling buns you expect to see from a ballerina in white tights doing pliés. The buns from the runways were messy with that "I don't care" attitude more befitting rebel than a classic dancer.

Cameron Diaz is the first celebrity to wear the trend on the red carpet. She wore the hair style to the premiere of 'The Box' in New York City, with face-framing wisps of hair and a golden statement necklace.

So invest in some bobby pins and practice your bun winding techniques.
