With a degree in design and merchandising from LA's esteemed Fashion Institute, Renée set out to create her own elegant, well-made accessories that would keep her hair stylishly in check. Soon, everyone who saw them on her wanted them. Renée created her first collection in 1991, showing it to local boutiques and department stores.
